What we offer
We provide workshops on mentoring that allow the students to meet other wellness professionals and support one another via peer mentoring, self-esteem, financial planning and mental health. The Self-esteem workshops are designed to empower and increase self-confidence of participants. The girls will develop a sense of empowerment and a belief in their own abilities and develop the skills necessary to become effective and influential leaders in their community. They also learn to identify their strengths and weaknesses, and to use those insights to become better leaders and advocates.
Through the hair care services they also learn to manage and style their own hair in a cost-effective way.
The mental health workshops provide resources and knowledge to recognize stressors and ways to handle them.

Showin’ Out Hair Gallery has been absolutely amazing for our family. Since my three have been getting their hair done here I see a new found confidence in them. They feel good about themselves! They feel good about their hair! The staff here is very lovely and helpful. The place is clean and they really do a great job with hair! My girls love being involved with this program where they can get their hair done monthly and participate in fun activities to go with it.
